Team cohesion

Team cohesion is the degree to which a team sticks together in pursuit of shared goals and shared relationships.

Definition

A distinction is drawn between task cohesion (a shared goal) and social cohesion (relationships). Both affect results and how satisfied the players are.

High cohesion means coordination, mutual support and resilience against conflict and pressure.
